Q.What is Pinup?

A. Pinup is a vintage style of artwork and photography popular in the 1920s- 1970s, centering around beautiful women. "Pinup" brings to mind the paintings of Alberto Vargas and Gil Elvgren, or images of women painted on planes in WWII. We love to create images with vintage style! Pinup can be as naughty or nice as the artist intends, however, we shoot tasteful images that are considered PG/PG13 at their "raciest". We will direct you to decide on wardrobe, and get the results you want!

Q. Do you photograph couples, or just women?

A. We welcome couples! Models must be at least 18 years old with valid government ID. We also photograph people with pets!

Q. I've never modeled before/I'm a professional model. Is that okay?

A. We love working with everyone, from the experienced model to the girl - or guy!- next door. If you've never shot pinup or boudoir, don't be shy! We will help dress, style, and direct you to produce a great result. All packages include a consultation via phone prior to your shoot.

Q. How do I book/prepare for my shoot?

A. All photo shoots begin with a phone consultation where we discuss the results you want, and details such as cost, payment, wardrobe, hair and makeup, and props/set if applies. When preparing for your pinup shoot, try to prepare at least a week before your booking. If you tan or spray tan, avoid strap marks, "farmer's tan", or sunburn. Avoid alcohol and heavy foods. The day before your shoot or the morning of, take the time to pamper yourself! Enjoy a luxurious shower or bubble bath. Shave or wax as you normally would, get or give yourself a manicure and pedicure, and have your hair color at its best, with hair squeaky clean (we can add texture for styling if needed). For vintage style images, classic red or natural nails are best. Light stretching or yoga and eating a small breakfast that day are a great idea and will help you hold poses during your session.

Q. What can I expect the day of the shoot?

A. On the day of the shoot, if it is in studio, arrive 15 minutes before your shoot time. Arrive with clean hair and skin, plus any wardrobe items discussed. If desired for first time models, we do allow a chaperone with prior arrangement, however for the most part we shoot on a  closed, private set.  We offer light refreshments. Should the shoot be on location, we will arrange a meet time and place. We will arrive on time and stay for the duration purchased.

We ask that our set remain closed and no other persons be present unless arranged at least 48 hours prior to the shoot.

You can expect your shoot time to be confined to the package purchased. Balances owed are due on the day of your shoot. We accept Paypal payments (Major Credit Card and Debit) and cash. We cannot refund deposits for or reschedule late arrivals or no-shows. You will be required to sign a model release and present proof of ID.

Q. Can I upgrade on the day of my shoot?

A.Should you wish to upgrade, depending on schedule we may add on a look or an hour. ( In studio only. )

Couples or gal pals will need at least 72 hours' notice. Sorry, we cannot guarantee complete additional wardrobe for upgrades.

Q. How soon will I get my images?

A. We will agree on a timeline at the time we book your session. We will go through your images, pick out the best ones, and retouch them. (this means blemish removal, retouching, and light body contouring if desired.) You will be able to download your digital images (high-resolution print and web versions) by the deadline. If there are design-related elements included in your package (such as a calendar design) we will agree on a deadline for files as well.

A. We do not create or sell prints (unless it is printed design materials purchased), but we will gladly assist you in finding a printer for your images.
